Spring Sake Workshop at Studio de egg

A joyful spring gathering where sake lovers explored the art of tasting, blending, and brewing in the cozy space of Studio de egg.

At the end of March, we welcomed the new season with a special Spring Sake Workshop at the charming and intimate Studio de egg. Alongside IMA and fellow sake lovers, guests embarked on a joyful journey through the world of Japanese sake—guided by a curated tasting of four distinct styles: the elegant Daiginjo, the full-bodied Junmai, the bold Kimoto, and the uniquely vibrant Sakura Emaki.

The workshop was more than just a tasting—it was a hands-on celebration filled with engaging experiences:

  • A blind tasting challenge to sharpen the senses and explore sake with curiosity,

  • A warm session of amazake making, sharing the comfort of this traditional sweet drink,

  • And a playful dive into sake mixology, where guests crafted their own cocktails with no limits on creativity.

Beyond the glass, participants also learned how to navigate real-life sake choices—from picking a bottle at the supermarket to selecting the perfect sake for gifting or dining out.
